2018 Pastoral Music & Fine Art Grant Applications Now Being Accepted The 2018 Pastoral Music and Fine Art Grant Applications are now being accepted.  The Deadline for applications is Thursday, January 11, 2018.  Parishes and Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese are encourage to submit an application.  In 2017, the Catholic Foundation and the Bobbie Dean Little Trust recently awarded $89,703 in Pastoral Music & Fine Art grants to 30 parishes and schools in the Archdiocese.  This is the third year of the grants program after establishing a Pastoral Music & Arts Endowment Fund six years ago.  Each year of the program, the Bobbie Dean Little Trust has collaborated with the Foundation to fund the awards. CFO Golf Classic Supports Catholic Schools Thank you for all who participated and support the Catholic Foundation’s 16th Annual Golf Classic. Catholic Foundation Turns 50 Years Old The Catholic Foundation of Oklahoma turns 50 years old on December 10, 2015.  The Foundation was organized under the leadership of Bishop Victor J. Reed as a non-profit corporation in 1965 to serve the people of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Conceived to augment the work of The Bishop's Fund, it was formed for the purpose of procuring and building endowment funds and to serve as a permanent organization for the administration of funds given to benefit the work of the Roman Catholic Church in the state of Oklahoma. At the organizational meeting of the newly formed Foundation, Father Stephen A. MacAulay explained, "The Foundation assists in channeling charitable donations in a more effective and official manner to any diocesan institution designated by the donor or by the Foundation. Wishes of the donor are strictly observed in distribution of funds. The charitable donations are rigidly protected and safeguarded by the Foundation..."  Happy Anniversary     Read the Full Story
