Director’s Grants

Beginning in 2009, the Board of Directors of the Catholic Foundation of Oklahoma began funding grants from the Director’s Endowment Fund at the Foundation. Director’s Grants are awarded to programs or organizations within the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City that have specific needs which may not meet the criteria for a traditional educational grant that is available to parishes and schools through the Catholic Foundation’s Grants Program.

Director’s Grants awarded:

Fiscal Year 2009-10 Grants:

  • Curriculum Mapping Program for the Catholic Schools Department of the Archdiocese


Fiscal Year 2010-11 Grants:

  • Leadership Development Program Scholarship to Notre Dame University for Archdiocesan teacher (2nd year)
  • Pastoral Music & Fine Arts Endowment Fund – Establish Fund with pledge for 5 years


Fiscal Year 2011-12 Grants:

  • Leadership Development Program Scholarship to Notre Dame University for Archdiocesan teacher (3rd year)
  • Good Shepherd Catholic School – First Year Start-up Grant
  • Pastoral Music & Fine Arts Endowment Fund – 2nd year pledge
  • Campus Ministries “Focus” Program at St. Thomas More University Parish at OU
  • Three Summer Youth Camp Scholarships to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Youth Camp

Catholic programs or organizations can request Director’s Grants by submitting a written request of no more than one page in length to the Executive Committee of the Catholic Foundation Board of Directors before the end of each calendar quarter (March, June, September or December). Consideration will be based upon the merit of the proposal and availability of funds.
