The Catholic Foundation of Oklahoma awards grants to support projects in Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City that advance the call to conversion and discipleship at all levels. This includes grants for school projects, continuing education for school leaders, and scholarships.
Encounter, Accompany, Community, Send is a path to conversion outlined by Archbishop Coakley in his pastoral letter that should serve as a guide for project planning for education grants. It begins with an encounter with the person of Christ and must be followed by the support of others, a community to share this way of life, and continues by giving the gift of Christ to others.
Catholic schools are invited to apply for a school grant to assist with education needs in line with Archbishop Coakley's Vision 2030.
Catholic school teachers are encouraged to apply for the Saint John Baptist de La Salle Grant for assistance with continuing education or certifications.
High school seniors may apply for a college scholarship.
Catholic School Awards honor the Catholic Schools Educator of the Year, Catholic School Support Staff Member of the Year, and Catholic School Volunteer of the Year each year across the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.
