Endowment Funds
Endowment funds are created to honor a loved one, a saint or simply named for the entity that will benefit from the endowment, and will perpetually provide financial support to a parish, Catholic school, Catholic organization or ministry within the Archidocese of Oklahoma City. A portion of the earnings are distributed to the organization according to the spending policy established by the Foundation Board of Directors.
Donor Advised Funds
An attractive alternative to the creation of a private foundation, a donation to a donor-advised fund receives a 100 percent tax deduction for the initial and any future donations to the fund. Donors suggest charities for which they are passionate to grant disburements. Grants are made quarterly in the name of the Donor Advised Fund to designated Catholic organizations or other qualifying charities.
Annuities
An active Charitable Gift Annuity program is available, at no cost, to provide ongoing support for the donors life, with the residual asset going to the Catholic Foundation of Oklahoma unrestricted endowment which provides grants for parishes, missions and Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.
Endowed College Scholarship Funds
The Catholic Foundation annually awards college scholarships to well deserving Catholic students of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City through funds created by donors. Establishing a College Scholarship Fund, the donor may specifiy a geographic area or parish; they may specify a particular college or university; or specific area of study. Each College Scholarship Fund is unique yet perpetually accomplishes the philanthropic goals of the donor.
