Catholics throughout the United States have recognized the critical need to establish need-based scholarships for Catholic students wishing to attend Catholic elementary and high schools. The Catholic Schools Opportunity Scholarship Fund, Inc. (CSOSF) was created as a separate not-for-profit Scholarship Granting Organization, designed to raise funds for and administer need-based scholarships for Catholic students within the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City. For many Catholic families, affordability continues to be a challenge:
The average tuition for Archdiocesan Catholic high school students: $8,935
The average tuition for Archdiocesan Catholic elementary school students: $3,625
Taxpayers making a two-year commitment and contribute the same amount both years receive a tax credit up to 75% of the donation each of the two years.
Make your donation today by completing and mailing this CSOSF Tax Credit Form with a check to:

The Catholic Foundation of Oklahoma underwrites the cost of CSOSF administration, so that 100% of your gift to the CSOSF goes toward scholarships:
75% of your donation will be awarded in scholarships to students at a school or schools you choose.
25% of your remaining donation will be awarded in scholarships to students at 22 Catholic Schools throughout the Archdiocese.
For more information contact the Catholic Foundation office, 405-721-4115. Scholarships are awarded in the school year following the school year of the donation.
* In 2011, the Oklahoma Legislature passed the Equal Opportunity Scholarship Act that allows for Oklahoma Income Tax Credits for donations to Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGO's) whose purpose is to grant need-based scholarships to students to attend accredited private elementary and secondary schools within the State of Oklahoma.
Under Oklahoma’s program, a tax credit of 50% is offered for one-time donations to an SGO, and a 75% tax credit for equal pledge amounts for two consecutive years. Credits are capped at $100,000 for qualified business entities, $2,000 for taxpayers filing a joint tax return, and $1,000 for individual tax filers.
