Nominate your most dynamic religious education teacher to be selected as Religous Educator of the Year by the Catholic Foundation of Oklahoma.
The Catholic Foundation provides one parish with a $5,000 grant each year to honor volunteer educators who exhibit qualities, skills and leadership that have impacted the lives of others through faith fomation. The top RE teacher exemplifies the mission of Catholic education and formation of the archdiocese.
Nominees may include the following volunteers:- Youth religious education/formation
- Adult religious education/formation
- RCIA
- Confirmation
- Youth ministry
- Other program
The Religious Educator of the Year will be awarded $500 with two additional finalists being awarded $250 each.
Guidelines:- One nominee per parish or mission religious education program.
- Nominee must be submitted by a catechetical leader with the pastor's approval or submitted by the pastor.
- Finalists will be interviewed.
- Winners and finalists will be announced at the Discipleship Conference on August 19, 2023.
